In class last week we watched the movie “Renewal”. I thought that it was a very interesting movie , especially when it was all about the different kinds of religion and how people practice in their own ways. I was not expecting it to be about that at all but after it was over I had learned a whole lot of what other people do in their types of worship. The religious groups were very focused on one thing, and that was the environment. I never knew that there were certain religious groups that set aside time to and energy to worry about what is happening to our planet. I think it is great that we have those people out there that I didn’t even know existed. If these groups are working towards protecting our planet now then we will be in better shape for the next generations to come. They also have these groups that constantly pray and worship God which will also pay off. If we ask him to keep our land healthy and our planet sustainable than we should be all set, right? It may take a little more than that, but that is a good place to start. Having faith that everything will turn for the best is a good way to stay positive and motivated to keep our nation clean and friendly. My personal opinion is that none of these practices can hurt us so why not continue and keep them growing. With passionate people all around us, and people willing to make a difference there should be no problem furthering our education about sustaining our universe.
